Staff Development Framework 2011‐2012

Staff development in SAISD focuses on adult learning that results in student
achievement. The mission of staff development is to inspire, empower and promote
professional learning that advances educator and student performance. Staff
development is results-driven, standards-based and job-embedded.

In planning the professional development program for 2011-2012, the district will
develop a collaborative model for adult learning. The following framework supports
SAISD's staff development goals.
