SAISD Earns State Comptroller’s Top Leadership Award

Leadership Circle Third Year GoldFor the third year in a row, the San Angelo Independent School District has earned a GOLD Leadership Circle Award for fiscal transparency from Susan Combs, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Sarah Hall, regional representative for San Angelo, states, "I am pleased to inform you that San Angelo ISD has earned a GOLD Leadership Circle Award. Congratulations on your success in implementing financial transparency and receiving a Leadership Circle Award for a 3rd year."

According to Jeff Bright, Assistant Superintendent, the Comptroller's office is truly a champion of the Texas taxpayer when it comes to fiscal responsibility and transparency. "We are certainly happy to earn the award, and will continue to work hard for our community and do our best to utilize the tax dollars they entrust us, both effectively and efficiently," Bright stated.
